Readers,

It turns out lightly mocking your friend who has 10,000 page views a month on their blog, and then in turn being link saladed (is that even a thing?) in said blog, turns into a LOT of people coming to visit your blog. My stats yesterday were kind of mind-boggling for my humble web abode. (I am easily impressed as my readership is smallish, but much loved) I am glad that Jay took pleasure in my suggestion. I guess my next target should be to get John Scalzi’s eye to twitch enough he responds and posts something. A very high bar, to be sure, but a worthy goal.

I think I owe you all a, “What I did over my Christmas holiday,” post, but I am waiting for the statue of limitations to run out, and for the possible pardon from the governor, so be patient.

If the real world was like the world in my head

Readers,

For those of you who are writers, which is a few, wouldn’t it be nice if publications would supply reasons for a rejection? Of course, I know why they don’t, limited time, volume of submissions, complexity of the effort, encouraging further dialogue which recapitulates this list. All good reasons, but I think there is a possible solution. Lets take a page from the old Hollywood studios. I think this could work. I made my sample, for the LULZ, as the young people say.
