Mythlife

Christmas trees are funny things, no matter how many times I look at the parts that bring them together, there is no point at which the eventual whole is visible to me, or that the breath-taking beauty of such a simple ritual artifact of our lives could come from humble origins.

It reminds me to leave myself open to the possibilities and to not trust my cynicism so deep. You never know what strange and humble things will turn into beauty.

Just another example of every-day wonder. They really are kind of magical, even in my jaded world view.
