In field of grass, auto’s light crawls

A field of cars in noble cause.

On desert wind, a hint of dust

the sun beyond the eve of dusk.

All friends gathered, under pale night

anxiously wait, sound and light.

Into sky, far ‘bove our heads

lightning crowns, stars violet bled

and thunder rolls, oh cannon’s dread.

Upon falling star, to sky once more,

the prisms dance to happy roar.

And from one, many, oh pregnant pause,

hell unleashed, to mad applause.
